For every student, the Class 10th Board exam is a milestone as it determines their future professional path. After successfully working on 10th Class Boards, the next important challenge is to decide on the right choice. Many students are still unsure of which subjects to take after completing grade 10th. Students first of all should be able to identify their interests, if they can do that then it becomes quite easy for them to choose their future careers.

This article focuses on the importance of medical and non-medical options that will help you to better understand yourself and thus make an informed decision. With the advent of additional studies covering two areas, the gap between the two has diminished. It is therefore very important to have a clear vision of what is to come once you have chosen.

Is Medical and Non-Medical Streams Equally Difficult?

That’s exactly right. As mentioned, each stream is complex in its way. It can be theoretical complexity or the complexity of analysis, but no subject does not require in-depth study. There is no difficult or simple topic; it all depends on your interest and the amount of effort you put into it.

The medical stream has a broader perspective, which will require you to get more detailed information, whereas the non-medical stream focuses on your analytical skills. However, both provide a wide range of disciplines within their subjects.

The Subjects offered in Science Stream in Class 11th

The subjects that these streams offer:

The first stream is Medical under which the subjects that are provided: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and an optional subject are required for medical students. The second is Non-Medical under which the subjects are: Physics, Chemistry, math, English, and also an optional subject that is required for the non-medical students. Although both the stream includes physics and chemistry subjects but what differentiates them is biology. The candidate can take biology or maths, they are given the choice. Though Physics and Chemistry are the same in both streams, what distinguishes them is the choice between Biology and Mathematics. Many students even choose both subjects i.e. PCMB, choosing Mathematics as an optional subject.

After the 10th class, numerous colleges and universities offer courses in these streams such as it open doors for engineering and computer applications, sciences, and agricultural sciences. Geeta University which is situated in Panipat, Delhi NCR, offers courses in these streams with GUTS scholarship and XEDGE. It focuses on making its student complete corporate citizens.

GU also contains skill centers where the lectures are delivered by industry experts.
