Department of Nutrition and Dietetics

The Nutrition and Dietetics program, a subdiscipline of Medicine, centres on the science of food and its impact on health and wellbeing. It prepares students for careers in the health, lifestyle, and wellness industries through specialized undergraduate and graduate programs. The department emphasizes outcome-based education, encouraging participation in conferences and workshops. Its vision is to produce professionals in public health, dietetics, nutrition, and food science who contribute to societal and economic development. The program supports both academic and extracurricular achievements, fostering communication skills, moral character, responsible citizenship, and social responsibility. Faculty members are highly qualified, with many holding post-doctoral or doctorate degrees and publishing research in prestigious journals. Geeta University Department of Nutrition and Dietetics offers three specialized programs: Diet Planning, Food Technology, and Fitness Management, aiming to equip students with skills for diverse career opportunities in the field.

Eligibility

Eligibility
Candidates must have Recognized Bachelor\'s degree of minimum 3 Yrs duration Obtained at least 55% at the qualifying Examination.
