  2. Are the courses offered by Geeta University recognized?
    Yes, Geeta University is a government approved university established under the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006. It is recognized by UGC and has the right to offer degree programs as per the sections 2(f) and 22(1) of the UGC Act 1956.
  3. What are the minimum requirements for applying to a particular course in Geeta University?
    The eligibility requirements vary from course to course and the level of the program. These are in accordance with the UGC guidelines for different courses and outline the minimum knowledge and qualifications a student should have to complete the chosen course.
  4. Are marks obtained in the qualifying examination considered for admission?
    Yes, all admissions at Geeta University are strictly offered on the basis of the marks obtained by the students in their qualifying examination.   5. Can I apply for admission to a program in Geeta University before the declaration of the result of the qualifying exam?
    Yes, you can apply for admission to a GU program before the declaration of the result of the qualifying exam. However, this admission would be provisional in nature and would be subject to you fulfilling the minimum marks requirement for the said program once the result is declared.
  6. What is the total approximate expenditure for a selected course?
    The total expenditure varies from course to course and whether or not you are availing of any scholarship from the University.   7. Can I receive admission on the basis of the admission test alone? 
    GU does not conduct admission tests for granting admission to its various programs. Rather the admission is offered on the basis of minimum eligibility requirement for that course as specified by UGC. In most undergraduate programs, the admission is offered to students if they have obtained a pass percentage of 45% or above. The cut off percentage for most post-graduate and doctorate programs is 50% & 55% respectively.
  8. Can I receive the admission form by post?
    While you cannot get the admission form by post, you can easily fill it and submit it online by clicking on this link: admissions.geetauniversity.edu.in.
  9. Do I need to come down to Geeta University campus/Admissions office to receive/submit the application form?
    No. Geeta University is a digitally enabled campus so you can complete all the admission formalities online. Hence, you do not need to visit the campus or admissions office to receive or submit the application form.
  10. Where can I get the prospectus and application forms?
    You can get the admission form online at admissions.geetauniversity.edu.in. Once you have filled and submitted the form online, our admission counsellor will contact you to provide details of the courses and the further process related to getting admission in your chosen program. You can also request to meet them in person to discuss any queries you may have about the admission process or other aspects of studying at GU.
  11. If I have to apply for more than one course/program, should I get that many application forms?
    No. You can fill all your course options in the same application form by checking the relevant check boxes.
  12. Can I depute someone as a nominee if I am not able to travel/come down?
    No, you cannot depute anyone to attend the counselling on your behalf. While you can complete most of the formalities online, you need to come down personally for the counselling session. During the session, your documents will be verified and you will complete other admission formalities to ensure that you can join the classes without any hinderance.
  13. Do I need to pay the admission/tuition fee at the time of admission/counselling?
    You need to pay an application fee of INR 1000 to start the admission process by paying the admission fee of INR 10000 to reserve your seat. The balance amount is to be paid according to the fee calendar, the details of which will be provided to you during the counselling session.
  14. Is there any facility for payment of fees in installments?
    Yes, Geeta University allows you to pay the fees in installments through third party banks. The details for the same can be obtained from the university or the admissions office at the time of counselling.
  15. Is there a capitation fee?
    No. Geeta University does not ask for any capitation fee for giving admission to students.
  16. Is there any Management/Reservation/Donation quota?
    No. There is no provision to offer admission at Geeta University for students under Management/Reservation/Donation quota.

  18. In whose favour should the application demand draft be made, where should it be drawn and in which bank should it be made?
    The Demand Draft should be made in favor of Geeta University, payable at HDFC Bank, Israna Branch, Panipat Haryana. The DD can be made from any bank. You can also pay the fee online through netbanking or UPI.
  19. What are the documents required while attending the counselling/admission?
    Students seeking admission to diploma and undergraduate programs need to submit copies of their 10th & 12th marksheet along with their Aadhaar Card, Migration Certificate, and 3 photographs. Students seeking admission in postgraduate and doctorate programs also need to submit their Bachelor’s Degree certificate and Master’s Degree certificate and proof of any research work along with the aforementioned documents.
  20. Can I take back the original documents?
    Yes, the original documents are returned to the students after verification.
  21. Does Geeta University offer Ph.D. programs?
    Yes, Geeta University offers Ph.D. programs in almost every discipline including CSE, Computer Application, Commerce, Management, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Law, Psychology, Nutrition & Dietetics, and Forensic Science.
  22. Is there any dress code?
    Geeta university enforces the rule of wearing uniform on Tuesdays and Fridays for the students. While there is no dress code to be followed on other working days, the university encourages students to wear formal attire on these days. 
  23. Are hostel charges included in the tuition fee?

  24. Is it necessary for parents to attend/accompany children during counselling?
    No, it is not mandatory for parents to attend or accompany their children during the counselling, although it is highly recommended.
