Can I receive admission on the basis of the admission test alone? GU does not conduct admission tests for granting admission to its various programs. Rather the admission is offered on the basis of minimum eligibility requirement for that course as specified by UGC. In most undergraduate programs, the admission is offered to students if they have obtained a pass percentage of 45% or above. The cut off percentage for most post-graduate and doctorate programs is 50% & 55% respectively.

Can I depute someone as a nominee if I am not able to travel/come down? No, you cannot depute anyone to attend the counselling on your behalf. While you can complete most of the formalities online, you need to come down personally for the counselling session. Do I need to pay the admission/tuition fee at the time of admission/counselling? You need to pay an application fee of INR 1000 to start the admission process by paying the admission fee of INR 10000 to reserve your seat.
