Previously affiliated with esteemed institutions such as Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, and Haryana State Board of Technical Education, Panchkula, GIP has now evolved into one of the integral pillars of Geeta University, Naultha, Panipat, as of the academic session 2022-2023 onwards.

The minimum eligibility criteria for pursuing the M Pharmacy Program is 55% marks in aggregate in the Bachelor of Pharmacy Program. Candidate should have obtained registration with the state pharmacy council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of his/her admission.
Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective State/ Central Education Board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M.) and or Biology (P.C.B/P.C.B.M.). English must be as one of the subjects.
The minimum eligibility qualification is 10+2 level of education in science stream PCB/PCM from a recognized State/ Central educational board.

PO-1 Gain knowledge of modern pharmaceutical analytical techniques used in formulation development and research.
PO-2 Apply knowledge of excipients, dosage forms, production, quality improvements in drug delivery system and various approaches for development of novel drug delivery systems, criteria for selection of drugs and polymers for the development of novel drug delivery systems.
PO-3 Use modern advanced analytical instrumental techniques for identification, characterization and quantification of drugs in drug formulations.
PO-4 Demonstrate an ability to design formulation and drug delivery systems process as per needs and specifications in Pharmaceutical Industries, marketing and approval.
PO-5 Develop an ability to visualize and work in multidisciplinary way in the Pharmaceutical Industrial Management and GMP Considerations and in pre formulation studies, Optimization Techniques & Pilot
Plant Scale Up Techniques.
PO-6 Summarise concept of generic drug and their development, various regulatory filings in different countries, different phases of clinical trials and submitting regulatory documents: filling process of IND, NDA and ANDA.
PO-7 Explain the various approaches for development of novel drug delivery systems and their advancement, the criteria for selection of drugs and polymers for the development of NTDS, the formulation and evaluation of novel drug delivery system.
PO-8 Apply knowledge and skills necessary for dose calculations, dose adjustments and to apply biopharmaceutics theories in practical problem solving, basic theoretical discussions of the principles of
biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics.
PO-9 Outline the computer Applications in pharmaceutical research and development process, basic theoretical discussions of the principles of more integrated and coherent use of computerized information (informatics) in the drug development process.
PO-10 Examine ingredients used in cosmetics and cosmeceuticals. Key building blocks for various formulations, Current technologies in the market, Various key ingredients, and basic science to develop cosmetics and

PO-11 To examine the effect of temperature change, non-solvent addition, incompatible polymer addition in microcapsules preparation; Preparation and evaluation of Alginate beads; Formulation and evaluation of gelatin /albumin microspheres; Formulation and evaluation of liposomes/niosomes; Formulation and evaluation of spherules; Improvement of dissolution characteristics of slightly soluble drug by Solid
Dispersion technique; Comparison of dissolution of two different marketed products /brands; Protein binding studies of a highly protein bound drug & poorly protein bound drug and Bioavailability studies.
PO-12 Analysis of Pharmacokinetic and IVIVC data, in vitro cell studies for permeability and metabolism, Formulation data analysis, Quality-by-Design in Pharmaceutical Development. Computer Simulations in Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics, Computational Modelling of Drug Disposition, to develop Clinical Data Collection manual, Sensitivity Analysis, and Population Modelling, Development and evaluation of Creams, Shampoo and Toothpaste base; to incorporate herbal and chemical actives, skin products.
