  1. Sustainable & Regenerative Farming Systems: Natural farming, soil health management, organic nutrient sources, regenerative agriculture, and climate-resilient farming practices.
  2. Crop Production, Agronomy & Precision Agriculture: Integrated crop management, precision agriculture, protected cultivation, smart farming tools, and data-driven decision-making in agriculture.
  3. Horticulture, Medicinal & Aromatic Plants: Nursery management, protected cultivation, vegetable production, mushroom cultivation, and innovation in horticultural systems.
  4. Soil Science & Nutrient Management: Organic and inorganic nutrient delivery systems, vermicomposting, soil fertility improvement, and sustainable input management.
  5. Remote Sensing, GIS & Digital Agriculture: Application of Remote Sensing and GIS in agriculture through national-level e-training and capacity building (IIRS–ISRO).
  6. Agri-Entrepreneurship & Extension Education: Farm-based organisations, microgreens, mushroom production, village adoption, farmer awareness events, and technology dissemination.
National & International Collaborations

The School of Agricultural Sciences has established strong academic and research collaborations through formal MoUs and institutional linkages, including:

  • Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), ISRO, Dehradun: Designated as a Nodal Centre for e-Training in Remote Sensing & GIS, strengthening geospatial applications in agriculture.
  • ICAR–National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (NBPGR), New Delhi: MoU for joint research, germplasm access, academic exchange, and capacity building.
  • Red Diamond Nursery, Dharamgarh (Panipat, Haryana): Industry–academia partnership for experiential learning, nursery practices, and commercial plant production.
  • PLANTICA–IARD, Dehradun (Uttarakhand): Collaboration in horticultural research, innovation, training, and technology exchange.

These collaborations support joint research, student training, FDPs, innovation activities, and extension programs.
