Connecting both students and faculty with global resources of knowledge, the Geeta University Library continues to adapt to challenging new demands and provides a very conducive learning atmosphere for the empowerment of its users. It is situated in the centre place of Geeta University to serve better the requirements of university students and faculty members. Although beauty and past history of this library is that it is functional from last 15 years (2008) as Geeta Engieering College but in 2022 it merge into Geeta University Library. GU Library having a diverse range of books and resources covering various fields is beneficial for students and staff in different academic disciplines. A well-stocked library enhances the learning and research experience for the university community. With over 25,000 books and subscriptions to more than 20 print journals and magazines, GU Library provides a comprehensive resource hub for individuals pursuing knowledge in fields such as Engineering, Management and Commerce, Humanities and Social Sciences, Sciences & Forensic Science, Nutrition Science & Dietetics, Agriculture, Pharmaceutics,Computer Applications, Legal Studies, and more. Every staff and student of the university is eligible for library usage is a great initiative, ensuring that everyone has equal access to these valuable resources. It promotes a culture of learning and research within the university community. Libraries play a crucial role in academic institutions by supporting the curriculum, facilitating research, and providing a quiet space for study. It’s also worth mentioning that the library’s services can extend beyond physical resources, such as offering online databases, e-books, and other digital materials, depending on the technological infrastructure in place. For the added benefit of the students, the library has established a reference section in which books are issued for reading within the library premises during library hours. The books of the reference section cannot be issued for carrying outside the library. This is extended to separate reference sections having 5829 text reference books.
