Eligibility Criteria for a PhD in Computer Science Program

(As per UGC Ph.D. Regulations, 2022)

Applicants must meet any one of the following:

  • Master’s degree (1–2 years) in a relevant discipline after:
    • 4-year Bachelor’s degree or
    • 3-year Bachelor’s degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade
  • Equivalent Master’s qualification recognized by statutory bodies or accredited foreign universities
  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree with minimum 75% marks, subject to:
    • A minimum of 4 years of full-time teaching, research and industry experience
    • Currently employed in an AICTE/UGC-approved institution, Government organization, or recognized industry
